Inspired Friday

Happy Friday! Another rainy day here in Virginia. I'm just sitting, enjoying the rain falling, while sipping some hot pumpkin pie spice coffee and eating pumpkin muffins. Little Man is taking his first nap in about a week and I am one happy momma! Oh, and the latest Little Man update is that he climbed out of his crib for the first time yesterday. I'm not sure how he did it, but he's turning into quite a climber.

Since sharing my living room and some of my goals for it, I've been thinking a lot about rugs. The room needs a rug more than anything else I think. Since rugs are a big expense, I'm not about to just go buy one. When I do buy one, it will be because I love it and I pinched pennies for it. So, I've been keeping an eye out for great rugs.

I thought today I'd share some of my favorites. Even if they won't all work in my living room, they might work in yours!

Threshold™ Hooked Chevron Area Rug - Blue

Modern Art Area Rug - Ivory/Multi

Offset Stripe Wool Dhurrie - Sable

Maples Fretwork Area Rug

LAPPLJUNG RUTA Rug, low pile IKEA

Which is your favorite? Feel free to share your own favorite rugs in the comment section!

  1. I dig that first rug.

But between cats and kids, that thing would be red from Kool-aid, yellow from mustard and brown from ... well, the cats.

    I hope the cats.

    1. The first one is my absolute favorite too! If I got it, I'd sure have to be more diligent about not letting kids in there with non-spill proof cups. But I do love it!
