I'm a little late to the fall home tour game this year. It can take some doing to get the house ready for pictures when you have little ones and toys everywhere! Many of these were taken on different days with different lighting and kiddo toys stuffed safely out of camera view. But the house is finally ready for fall. In the middle of October.
That's how I roll.
Let's start the tour in our entry hall...
I found this paper leaf art at the thrift store. It all made out of thin paper shreds. Pretty cool!
I am in love with my fall pillows! I made the floral pillows out of napkins from World Market, the blue silk pillows are from our master bedroom, I found the orange one at the thrift store last week, and the brown one is my no-sew pillow.
I tend to go a little season crazy in the living room. We are in there all. the. time. and so it gets most of the decor. Plus, pillows. The other rooms are more tame.
This is my little touch of fall in the office. Just a vase filled with acorns, a lantern, and a pumpkin.
This is about as fallish as my kitchen got. I'm still trying to find places for everything in my kitchen
so adding more stuff just didn't seem like a good idea. I'm good with burlap, candles, and a gourd.
I hope you enjoyed the little tour! As you can see, I am really loving the blue and burnt orange scheme right now. Not sure if that's a trendy color combo right now, but I love it! What do you think about it? Do blue and orange work for fall decorating?
