I Need Your Help!

Some of you may have noticed a few glitches on the site over the last couple days. This is because Google recently made a secure https setting available for bloggers who use Google for hosting. I have made this switch, and I need your help to find any issues resulting from it!

Some of you may have noticed a few glitches on the site over the last couple days. This is because
Google recently made a secure https setting available for bloggers who use Google for hosting. This means that my blog will now use a secured https url and my blog will no longer show the unsecure message in a Chrome browser. I have made this switch, but I'm noticing issues as a result and I am working on correcting them.

You may notice that some of the links, share buttons, images, etc., are not functioning. Some I have noticed already but I'm sure there are others that I may be missing. Different browsers show things differently(duh, right?) and the browser that I'm using may not show me a certain problem that you are having. Please report any issues with my site that you have noticed through a comment or an email to help me identify the glitches and find solutions more quickly!

If you’re on Blogger too and have recently switched to https, I want to help you find support for any issues and anything in general related to Blogger support. I am part of a Blogger tech/troubleshooting support community with hired support available for your SEO and tech needs. You can find the group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/LGandKSBloggerSupport/
Thank you for your patience as I work to get this all squared away. I appreciate your loyalty as a reader!

April Review {2015}

Time for the 2015 April Review! I'm just excited because I wrote more than 2 posts last month. That hasn't happened in a while!

We had an interesting April, that's for sure. I was able to clear out a ton of junk and wrap up the 31 Days to Less Clutter series, I was asked to curate a shutter upcycle board on Hometalk, and another major leak in our kitchen has everything in a mess and us waiting patiently for everything to be fixed. My favorite post though is my last one, 8 Ways to Foster Your Child's Creativity. I guess I'm a tad passionate about that subject!

The links to each post are below so keep on scrolling!

February-March Review

31 Days to Less Clutter: Don't Be a Dragon

31 Days to Less Clutter: Don't Be a Dragon. Simplify your life and surround yourself with what you love!

Well, it's been over a month since I started this declutter thing. It has felt so good letting things go! That little stamp I get on my Goodwill card every time I drop something off makes me happy too!

What Goodwill card you ask? Maybe everyone knows this already but I'm kind of excited about it! When you donate to Goodwill, you can get a 20% off coupon card. Bring it back every time you donate, get it stamped, and after four stamps you can use it on your next Goodwill purchase. Pretty great, right? You know what else is great?

31 Days to Less Clutter: Don't Be a Dragon. Simplify your life and surround yourself with what you love!

This view right here. This used to be my room of shame. It wasn't functional at all. I have had great big plans for this room for some time but all that junk was getting in the way. Literally.

February-March Review {2015}

Hello April!

I'm hoping that the weather is planning on becoming more spring-like soon so that I can start my garden! Right now it's nice and windy outside and it feels wonderful! I've got my spring cleaning cap on this week and I've already dumped a considerable amount of stuff off at the thrift store. The boys' grandma is visiting this week and she has them out on a walk in their wagon right now. This mama needed a moment to blog and drink her coffee in peace!

I love grandmas.

Since I've only been averaging two posts a month lately, I'm combining the review of February and March. That way there's a little bit more for you to read. I'll be back next week with a wrap up of my declutter month. My declutter month that has now leaked over into this month. That's what happens when you try to declutter your entire house at once and you keep getting distracted by shiny things and small children.

Here we go...

Top 10 New Year Goals for 2015

I am not a New Year's Resolution person. I have never understood them. The logic escapes me. Especially when only 8% of the folks that make resolutions actually keep them. Why would I want to make a resolution that, ultimately, I'll feel terrible for not keeping anyway?

I don't deal well with resolutions. I see a resolution as set in stone and unchangeable. Something that throws off my groove.

Blogging Crush Series::Happiness with a Side of Tea

Hi everyone!  I hope your week has been great so far! Today, I took my Friday post over to Happiness with a Side of Tea. I am very excited that I get to participate in Jazmine's Blogging Crush Series!

I appreciate Jazmine giving me a change to share some things about myself over on her blog. She asked me 20 random questions and I had a blast answering them. Some really made me think! So if you want to know a little more about me, things that I've never shared on here before, then head over!

I'm the last blogger in the series which means there were many awesome bloggers before me. You can find all their previous posts at Happiness with a Side of Tea. I encourage you to check them out! It's been wonderful getting to know some of these awesome bloggers and I know you will love them too!

Have a great weekend!

February Review 2014

Wow, and it's already March! February was very full of goings on for us. So full that I didn't post as often as usual. There will be lots to fill you all in on this month! So here's a review of February!

We ended up with a pretty bad hot water leak that needed to be fixed. But we ended up with a new floor and all new bathroom fixtures as a result so...I approve. I'll be posting some updates on the whole fiasco later this month!

I tested two soups on my family and shared the taste test result. Which one do you think won my guys over? Links to the recipes are in the post too!

I wrote myself some encouragement right before baby arrived. Just a little reminder for moms that the craziness is all worth it! You are a super hero mommy!

I'm looking forward to seeing what March has in store! What big events happened in your February? Share in the comments!

New Blog Design!

I am so stoked about the new blog design! I had originally planned on setting it up a couple weeks ago, to coincide with Real Inspired's one year Blogiversary{happy blog anniversary to me!}, but our newest little guy decided to come early and threw that plan off. So here it is today!

I would love to hear what you think about it! And, since I really know nothing about graphic design and html, I would love to know that it is all working correctly and showing up the way it is supposed to. So, if something looks off to you or if you have a suggestion for making this blog more user friendly, please shoot me an email or leave a comment below.

Thank you for being awesome!
